Life as a mom can get super busy. This past weekend and the first part of this week has been a whirlwind but God is faithful. I have had people lie on me and my faith has been challenged. The devil has whisper all sorts of nonsense into my ear. I finally pulled myself back into the Word I was glad to read Psalms 37:15 which says:
“Their [the wicked] sword shall enter into their own heart, and their bows shall be broken.”
This verse reminds me that the same lies people use against you will come back upon them. The truth will one day be revealed and they shall be brought low. Again, vengeance is God’s (Deuteronomy 32:35).
Now here was the other reminder that God brought to me in Psalms 37:16:
“A little that a righteous man hath is better than the riches of many wicked”.
Don’t worry about the riches of others, God’s got you! The little that you have, God will bless. He has shown me that over and over again.
Finally Psalms 37:17 reminds us again:
For the arms of the wicked shall be broken: but the Lord upholdeth the righteous.
How many times does God need to remind us that He will hold us up? That He has our back!
Today, as we write Psalms 37:15-17 on our hearts, let us ask God to help us remember that God will protect us, uphold us and provide for us.
